This first-time regional event was held September 27th-29th, 2004 at the Virginia Crossings Hotel & Conference Center in Glen Allen, VA.    Eleven AAUW Florida members were registered; but many were unable to attend as Hurricane Helene caused flight cancellations and airport closures.

However, in the words of AAUW FL President Kay Lee Smith, “like the dedicated and optimistic AAUW Florida members we are, a few were able to persevere and attend.”  Conference details to come.

$1,000 Sponsorships Awarded 

Exciting News! Three members were awarded $1,000 sponsorships to attend the Conference.
